About Mama Bear:
Rachael, aka Mama Bear, started taking care of post-surgical dogs in 2005. Originally ran out of their home, the project proved to be more than a temporary situation, and their love of pets proved too big for their home. Mama Bear's Bed & Biscuit was opened in 2019, the business has thrived and still continues to be a facility specializing in comfort and socialization.

We offer a playful experience of socialization between dogs where we do not separate by breed or size. All first-time dogs will be introduced to our group slowly, using a traditional evaluation process to better accustom your pet to our facility and out staff to better ease them into our energetic group setting.
We utilize a home-like environment to ensure that every pet feels more comfortable during their overnight stays. Boarding suites are set up with bowls, beds, and blankets to ensure your pet feels the comforts of home, and playtime with our daycare group is included every day.
Our groomer, Mama Bear herself, does "comfort grooms" which consists of shave downs, baths, and sanitary cuts. This process is sometimes slower to ensure a less-stressful environment for dogs of all sizes and ages.
